Dominic Flynn
Journeyman Tile setter & Mosaic artist
With over 30 years in the mosaic and tile trade, Dominic has a career grounded in craftsmanship, precision, and pride of work. Dominic is certified Journeyman tile setter who has spent decades working on hundreds of high-end residential and large, luxury commercial projects, from custom homes to major builds like YVR Pier D Expansion, Holt Renfrew, Pacific Centre Cadillac Fairview and Apple.Over the years, Dominic’s role has grown beyond tile work into general contracting and project management, leading teams through complex projects that demand both technical expertise and creative problem solving. Dominic has been fortunate to work and teach alongside some of the most skilled tradespeople in the business, and recently has lead teams that have earned three Hard Surface Awards through the Tile Terrazzo Marble Association of Canada (TTMAC).Dominic’s craft has also taken him in unique directions and cities from Ottawa, New York, Vancouver and now Toronto, from designing and expertly installing hand cut mosaics to consulting as a mosaic, tile and stone technician for the New York City Transit Authority. Whether the project is large-scale commercial or a one-of-a-kind residential installation, Dominic brings the same focus: respect for the materials, attention to detail, keeping current with technologies and the commitment to artistic work that endures. Leigh Currie is an experienced leader in design, construction, and operations, with over two decades of expertise spanning residential and commercial property management, construction, and project delivery.
As General Manager at The Great Canadian Landscaping Company Ltd., Leigh has led the Divisional Leadership team in delivering high-quality, design-driven projects that balance creativity, craftsmanship, and client satisfaction. She is known for her ability to align vision with execution and ensuring that projects are completed seamlessly, on time, and to the highest standard.
Leigh’s leadership style is rooted in collaboration, clear communication, and a strong commitment to both her team and her clients. Her diverse background from small business ownership to large-scale project management, gives her a unique perspective on how to build efficient systems and lasting relationships across the design-build industry.
Leigh has successfully led change management initiatives, including restructuring operations and transforming a business from loss to profitability. Her hands-on approach, business acumen, and people-first leadership style have earned her a reputation for driving sustainable growth and building resilient teams.
After several successful years leading operations in British Columbia, Leigh is ready to return home to Toronto to take on new challenges and explore fresh business opportunities. She brings with her a proven track record of operational excellence, a deep understanding of design and construction, and a passion for creating meaningful spaces that bring people together.
